Schoolcraft County Fair Pageant 2021

Miss, Junior Miss, Little Princess, Mr., Junior Mr., & Little Prince Divisions

Rules, Regulations & Pageant Information

All contestants must:

● Reside in Schoolcraft County

● Participate in all pageant activities

● Show involvement in community activities

● Must participate in the Schoolcraft County Fair and Schoolcraft County Fair Building

and Grounds activities throughout the year

● Be of good moral character

● Are required to enter 2 projects into the 2021 Schoolcraft County Fair. See the Premium Show and Exhibition Book for all categories. Some examples include: a piece of artwork, a craft, a photograph, a plant, an animal, share a talent or create aneducational or informational display.

● MUST be present for ALL rehearsals and pre-pageant activities.

Miss Schoolcraft Contestants:

● Are females

● Between the age of 12 and 17

● Have never been convicted of a crime or have charges pending

● Must be childless, never have been married or have had a marriage annulled

Junior Miss Contestants

● Are females

● Between the age of 8 and 11

Little Princess Contestants

● Are females

● Between the age of 4 and 7

Mr. Schoolcraft Contestants

● Are males

● Between the age of 12 and 17

● Have never been convicted of a crime or have charges pending

● Must be childless, never have been married or have had a marriage annulled

Junior Mr. Schoolcraft Contestants

● Are males

● Between the age of 8 and 11

Little Prince Contestants

● Are males

● Between the age of 4 and 7

Judging Criteria

Miss Schoolcraft/ Mr. Schoolcraft:

The Miss/Mr. division will be judged on the following:

● Poise

● Public speaking

● Congeniality

● Community and activity involvement

● Talents and skills

The competition will begin with a photograph session, pageant prep meetings, group performance rehearsals, a dinner, an initial meeting with the judges and a written letter of recommendation for each contestant (personal character reference).

The pageant portion of the competition will include participation in a group performance and an onstage individual interview with the Master of Ceremonies (MC). After all interviews are complete, each of the contestants is welcome to share a talent or show and explain their fair entries.

Junior Miss/Mr:

The Junior Miss/Mr division will be judged on the following:

● Poise

● Public speaking

● Congeniality

● Community and activity involvement

● Talents and skills
